The Springer Book Archives go all the
way back—more than 150 years—to Springer’s founding in 1842, and includes a majority of books Springer has published, up until 2005.

It shows that the Archives include discoveries like Marie Curie’s work; the development of forensic fingerprinting; nuclear fission and the neutron; Albert Einstein’s many discoveries; carbon nanotubes and more.

Three decades of Springer content impacting a career

In each of the last 3 decades, a single Springer monograph has emerged in ways that had a significant impact on my career.

In the 90s, one of my grad school professors wrote the Springer Texts in Statistics book on ANOVA in experimental design. It was one of the strongest influences on the experimental design for my dissertation research.

In the 00s, my top cited paper was co-published as an Evolutionary Ecology journal article and a Springer Edited Volume: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology of Clonal Plants.

In the 10s, library discovery system research brought me back into the land of ANOVA, which pushed the envelope of ANOVA models in R. When our work with a statistics consultant was stalled, a Springer statistics text came to the rescue:
Linear Mixed-Effects Models Using R: A Step-by-Step Approach.

I wonder which book the 20s will bring!
